Analyzing the 'Orbis' planet lore. It seems like the main world is a bounded sphere with a fixed size, while the 'Alterverses' are infinite procedural spaces. This is a brilliant way to have both a curated story world and infinite exploration!

I agree. Bounded maps allow for much better 'continent' design and meaningful landmarks. If it was infinite, you'd never feel like you've actually 'explored' the world.

Bounded worlds are also much easier for server admins to manage. No more 'world folder is 2TB' issues because one player flew 1 million blocks in a straight line.
