tryna host a private world for my friends but nobody can join. i opened port 5520 in my router settings but canyouseeme says its closed. i set it to UDP but still nothing... do i need to forward TCP too?? help pls

canyouseeme only tests TCP so it'll always say closed for hytale lol. hytale uses the QUIC protocol on **UDP 5520**. check ur windows firewall and make sure the hytaleserver.jar is actually allowed through. also some ISPs use CGNAT so u might be cooked regardless :/
